some chants and mantras will be in Tibetan and Sanskrit but the texts are all translated into english +
No parts of the retreat will be in Tibetan. I studied Tibetan for two years, however, for my MA in Buddhist Studies at Naropa University, and I have recently renewed my studies of the language. +
All the texts for 3-year retreat in Garchen Buddhist Institute available in both languages à English and Tibetan. The Retreat master visits retreatants with a translator. +
My planned hermitage will not function in Tibetan. The Sadhanas that will be used are both tranlasted and / or versifed in the English language. The other aspects of my planned retreat will focus on unelaborated practices. +
Empowerments, transmissions, and instructions are given in Tibetan and translated into English. During group practice Tibetan transliteration is chanted and then English. +
Tibetan speaking Retreat Master will have English translator for instructions. I believe some group rituals will be in Tibetan though I have not been told the specifics. +
Usually instruction and group rituals are in Tibetan, with a translator for oral instructions, and rituals have an English translation in them. Major texts have been translated into English for individual practice. +
Drupon will give empowerments, instructions and personal interviews in Tibetan and his translator, Ina Bieler, will translate into English. The texts are in tibetan, transliterated and translated into English. As long as retreatants understand the meaning, they can decide whether to conduct the practices and accumulations in English or Tibetan. +
Instruction will be in Tibetan with Heidi Koppl translating into English. I believe group rituals (tsok) will also be in Tibetan (with the option of phonetic texts), while individual practice can be done in either Tibetan or in one's native language. +
The texts and group ritual practices will be in tibetan, but we will receive explanation before. Retreat master said I have only to know how to read tibetan fast, but I will try to be better +
Group rituals will be in Tibetan. Individual practice will alternate between Tibetan and French (for a better understanding of the meaning of the practice). Instructions will be given in French.
Some major commentaries of the practices will be studied in Tibetan and we may have to work on some Tibetan-French translation. +

Except for 1 session and several daily commitments, all sadhanas, torma offerings, praises & prayers are done in Tibetan, as well as all pujas, including the daily Protector Puja, the Tara Puja, fortnightly Tshog ritual, Samantabhadra, and other special Pujas, such as the Chenrezig, Fire, Chasum, 16 Arhat & Incense Pujas. +
