Personal Savings: 10,277 EUR (I will need to have at least 18,000EUR to show the French Government for the entire duration of the retreat in order to maintain a visa, so I am not planning to use this towards the cost of the retreat). +
I will cover the remaining 6600 of these 3 years with my personal savings.
The preparation year (2025), as well as the 4 other years of retreat will be covered with my personal savings and also some family support (3000) +

Unfortunately my studies in Nepal have depleted my personal savings, and I do not have any other sponsorship. +
I am applying for this scholarship in an effort to extend my current three year and three month retreat to a total period of four years and nine months. This leaves me with one year and six months of necessary funding. I have family and friends who have offered to sponsor a six month period of my retreat, and I am applying for this scholarship in an effort to fund the remaining one year period. +
I spent my savings plus some help from family and friends to pay for the current retreat including shrine items, health insurance and all other costs.
From the money I have left I will be able to give €5000 towards the retreat cost and can pay for health insurance and other personal expenses as needed.
As I have no other income, in order to be able to continue the retreat I would be extremely grateful if the Tsadra Foundation could help me with the retreat costs. +
I have been living with a most modest income for many years and have hardly got any savings. Yet I live without debts of any kind. None the less I intend to work as much as I can prior to the retreat to earn some money towards the retreat costs. However I am unemployed at present and supported by a meagre unemployment allowance as well as their support in finding a new job or jobs.
I do not know whether or not some kind persons around me might be favourably inclined towards my 3 years retreat... This state of uncertainty together with my sincere wish to complete the retreat makes me approach for your kind support... I do not know now what amount to request from your side, and added a 25,000 of the estimated 30,000. Not having been in Arizona yet I will have to make a first trip before the retreat draws near and thus look at two trips there. +

I have received partial sponsorship for the upcoming retreat Å5 500. I am applying for a scholorship to make up the balance of Å12 500, giving a total of Å18 000. +
I currently have approximately £3000 in my bank account which I can put towards the retreat.

I have a net rental income from a flat I own in North London of approximately 500 pounds per month. Out of this amount, 300 is used every month to pay back a loan (last repayment in March 2018). +

All of my savings went into my last retreat and I've been a monk since.
Also, other than a couple of contributions from my father, (a few hundred pounds) and money for vitamins from his carer, I haven't asked for, or received, any sponsorship since becoming a monk. The London centre (which I've been helping to renovate) have housed and fed me since coming out of retreat.
My father's carer would probably, again, sponsor vitamins for me during retreat but my father has warned me that he will not be able to offer funding. +

Yes, I have pocket money sponsorship totaling Å60 a month from family and friends. +
I have some personal savings (Å5000) that I am putting towards the 1st year of retreat. And my partner and I live on a boat which could be sold if my application is not successful. My partner is happy to do this but it would cause her some difficulties. The retreat fees do not include personal expenses or the purchase of text and rupas. I have no sponsors or support from my family for retreat. +
The Buddhist community in Zimbabwe, which includes my family, try to support me as much as they can. +
