As I came out from the previous retreat, I felt doing the next one wasn't the best idea, because the previous group had been pretty explosive, and I thought maybe solitary retreat was the right option. | |||
As I came back to the Pyrénées this past June, I found out that the place felt rather different, and the new group too. I felt very much at home, I felt a lot of the roughness of the place and of the dynamics had been smoothed out, and I found a lot of encouragment from my teachers to take part on this retreat. | |||
This group feels different in the sense that there is a lot more communication and pre-existing harmony. Most of us come from the same sangha, and a lot of them have already lived together. I also feel that with all the growth I went through in the past retreat, I could help others to navigate some of the challenges that will come up during retreat. | |||
I felt also that all the work we did in the previous retreat could be subtly felt in the environment, and that my practice was much more conducive than in any of the places I have been moving around for these months, so I would really like to honor that and continue deepening my practice in Gomde Pyénées. | |||
Both Drupon Tezin Sangpo and Rinpoche have been very supportive of this decision, and I myself feel very clearly and with tremendous joy and gratitude that this is the way I want to go. | |||
I don't have any personal means, so I would entirely depend on the support given by Tsadra. I would feel very grateful if I would be granted a second opportunity. | |||
My wish is that through my practice, I will one day be capable of benefiting others profoundly through helping them moving through their practice with more clarity, and for this, I know extensive retreat is still needed. | |||
I wish that I will be able to pay back your generosity through keeping the Dharma alive and genuine through my most sincere effort. | |||
