I started to study Buddhism by myself in 1986 at the age of twelve. Met Lama Zopa Rinpoche in 2001 and received teachings from him, for the first time in Tibetan Buddhist tradition. From 2003, I studied and practiced under Khenpo Sangpo Rinpoche (sangye.org). I received teachings and instructions from him on many occasions, both publicly and privately. Met Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche in 2008 and benefitted from many of his teachings and instructions. I studied in Namdrolling Shedra in India for two years (2013 - 2014). In 2017, I met H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, who touched my heart in the most profound way, and whom I consider as my main root guru. His instructions and blessings have benefited me in the most incredible ways. I have studied with several other teachers in those years in between 2001 and 2019 - as described in my dharma resume. +
I came here with any knowlegde of Buddhism with Lama Tsultrim. I just started one month ago. +

I received my first Tantric empowerment and meditation instruction from H.H. Sakya Trizin in Germany 2002. In the following 1. years I visited the Sakya Tsechen Ling Center in Strassbourg/France on a regular basis and attended several teachings on basic Buddhist philosophical texts and empowerments by the late Khenchen Sherab Amipa Rinpoche. +

My encounter with dharma began in October 2007 after reading the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, it completely resonated with me and had answers to many questions I had about life and death. I began to attend meditation classes, retreats, drupchens and volunteered in many areas in Rigpa UK.
Then in 2011 I had aspirations to travel to India and Nepal to study Tibetan language and to meet one of my main teachers Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. For the past 4 years starting in March 2012, I have been so fortunate to be following Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche’s Dharma Gar Asia which is an at-home retreat programme where Rinpoche teaches us via webinar and we are currently studying and practising guru yoga.
I studied Tibetan mainly to understand my practice more. I studied at Deer Park Institute in Bir, India, Esukhia in Dharamsala, India and IBA in Boudha, Nepal. I’m still scratching the surface but the language is quite beautiful and inspiring, also learning Tibetan helps me to practise patience too.
In 2013 is when I had the great fortune to have met Pema Wangyal Rinpoche my other main teacher, during the summer retreat in Dordogne. Where I am now focusing on both guru yoga and the pre retreat preliminary practices. My long aspirations to do three year retreat also began to unfold and take shape with the guidance, encouragement and blessings fof my teachers, hopefully this will manifest in the near future. +
Since 10 years ago, my actual teacher is Chogyal Namkhai Norbu +
The study of buddhism started in 1994, when I met His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the Institut Yeunten Ling in Huy, Belgium. Shorty after this, I received teachings from the resident Lamas (Lama Karta, Lama Tashi Nyima and Lama Zopa) and began to practice under their guidance. Until june 1996 : departure to France, I am living mostly in France since then to study and practice the Buddhadharma. +

Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche has been the first buddhist teacher whom I could received teachings from in 2002.
Listening to her teaching, as a clear evidence, I took refuge and decide to follow this path no matter what it would take.
In 2004, I request her guidance as a main teacher and she granted me instructions since then.
This year Khandro Rinpoche began the Minlling Dorsem cycle of teachings in this very extensive form (learning from the ngondros onward the details of the practice of a sadhana) which lasted until 2015. I had very lucky to be able to attend all of it.
In 2005 I met Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, it appear to be also an authentic teacher so I request his guidance too, knowning that I was already following Khandro Rinpoche teachings. Since then, I regularly requested and tried to follow his instructions too.
The main book I've studied in french has been the Word of my Perfect Teacher of Dza Patrul Rinpoche.
On the advice of Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche, I began to study Tibetan language and went to a branch of the IBD school of dialectics of Dharamsala, in India. +
2000 Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh +
Around 1995, I travelled to Nepal, and while there, did a 10-day Goenka Vipassana retreat, which caught my attention. Then while working in South Korea, I began to study and practice Zen Buddhism at a small international temple and at another small temple. I took refuge and had the intention to take lifetime vows, although I did not.
In 2001, back in Canada, I discovered Gampo Abbey. There I met Thrangu Rinpoche during his visit for the consecration of the stupa. I stayed at the Abbey for two years and during this time, I took refuge and bodhisattva vows. Ani Pema was there for two yarnes, and I benefited from those teachings and from personal discussions with her. I had a chance to attend Shedra for one semester, with Lodro Sangpo, Karl Brunnholzl, Andy Karr. I met many great teachers there, including Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and Mingyur Rinpoche. On a subsequent visit, I started ngondro with Thrangu Rinpoche.
This all began a multi-decade journey of study and practice. Over the years, I travelled to many places to study with Thrangu Rinpoche, including Nova Scotia, Maine, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Sarnath, and Kathmandu. And I’ve had the good fortune to study and practice with many other great teachers, including HH Karmapa 17. (I really should be enlightened by now!) +
