1) four yearly winter retreats (six weeks each) beginning in 1991 under Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche and Lama Drimed (Chagdud Rinpoche's primary lineage holder) Trekchod/Rushan/Togal
2) Eighty day retreat : entire cycle of Chetzun Nyingthig with Lama Drimed in 2001
3) two full summer retreats with Lama Tarchin Rinpoche at Pema Osal Ling

4) One month winter solitary retreat in a cave at Chimichangchub/Rikeshwar, Nepal 2000

4 yearly Month long group teaching retreats for Shedra from 2004-2007. I have not been free to do personal retreat of one month or longer as I have used my vacation times for shedras , group retreats or pilgrimages to Tibet. +

Personal Retreats:
Two months (2009) personal retreat, One million Mani mantras, accomplished goal. Roughly seven hours each day, after my son left for school.
Three month (2014)--under Lama Gyaltsen's direction, the first Ngondro assigned by Lama Gyaltsen, accomplished prostrations and 100-syllable mantra
One month (2015)--under Lama Gyaltsen, the first Ngondro, completed most of the mandala collection...will finish this Ngondro after my 3-yr retreat
The schedule for the two Ngondro retreats:
3:30am wake up, set up shrine
4am begin Ngondro, 35 Confessional Buddhas,
Green Tara and Rainfall of Blessings
7am get ready for work
5pm home
5:30pm Ngondro, 108 times around the stupa, go to bed

But I did complete 2 sets of 8 Nyungne led by Lama Norlha Rinpoche at Kagyu Thubten Chöling Monastery in 2014 and 2015.

One month Ngondro Guru Yoga retreat at Shrab Ling in India. +
As a resident of Kagyu Shedrup Choling, it has been my responsibility to maintain the dharma center whenever Lama Karma Chotso has been away teaching. During these periods, usually lasting one month, I have been the sole resident on the center, chanting the morning and evening practices, offering tormas, and fire pujas, as well as maintaining my own daily meditation practices. +
Three Dzogchen one-month retreats at Khadro Ling temple (RS-Brazil), with Jigme Tromge Rinpoche, at 2010, 2012 and 2013. +
I have been in two meditation retreats for 3 days each one.

The pre-retreat program at KTC will be commencing a 1 month long ngundro retreat on August 14, 2016. This will be my first retreat of this duration. +
Note on Ngondro: I have created a schedule to be able to complete my ngondro by august of this year before going into retreat.
I have participated in a month long nongdro group retreats at Milarepa Osel Cho Dzong.
I have participated in other retreats, but they all have been for shorter periods of time:

I completed the traditional three-year retreat at Kagyu Thubten Choling from November 2011-May 2015. +
I have done one moth to three months online retreats with special instructions on how to keep a retreatant mind during daily non-Dharmic routine. This experiences have given me an idea of how retreat life is and, more importantly, how to work with your mind to keep a commitment for more than 12 days. +
