I requested Thrangu Rinpoche to be my teacher and for permission to embark on the ngondro practice one year when Rinpoche was visiting Gampo Abbey. (I used to return to the Abbey every year until 2010 or so.) I completed the ngondro in Richmond, BC, and visited Rinpoche at Thrangu Monastery to tell him and thank him and ask for guidance on the next step. The specific dates I have listed above are approximate.  +
I have completed the prostrations for the Ngondro of the Drolma Zabtik terma cycle revealed by Chokgyur Lingpa as part of the Tara's Triple Excellence online program (begun in summer of 2023). This terma cycle also includes 100 performances of the outer sadhana and 1 million mantra recitations along with performances of the inner sadhana as preliminaries to the Ngondro practices. I am currently accumulating Bodhicitta prayers for this Ngondro. I have accumulated about a third of the prostrations for the Lamey Tukdrub Barchey Kunsel terma cycle, starting when I received the reading transmission in 2015. Because Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche told me to practice the Triple Excellence program, I have focused more on this while including recitations of the Tukdrub Barchey Kunsel Ngondro in my daily practice over the years for continuity's sake.  +
The application would not let me submit without saying I have finished my Ngondro. This isn't required by Wangchen Rinpoche to enter 3-Year Retreat. Instead he requires us to do at least 25-Nyungne, and encourages us to do short retreats of Ngondro before our retreat. My answer on this portion of the application reflects my current progress. I will complete my Ngondro before my retreat date  +
I have started the Ngondro, but I have not been able to complete it yet. I carry the aspiration to do so, and I keep a daily ngondro practice of about an hour.  +

I am projected to complete them by the end of the Year.  +
Expected to finish in 2021  +
The Ngöndro was done as part of the 3 year retreat (07/2022-12/2025)  +
I am currently finishing this Ngondro but the application would not let me submit without indicating YES here. I am currently within the Guru Yoga section.  +
Currently nearly finished a 2nd full set of 4 Ngondros 111,111  +
I could'nt do a full set of the Mandala offering and Guru Yoga of my first Ngöndro because of a lack of time : I was going to enter my first three year retreat, and so I did 10 000 of each. I completed all the practices of the Kunsang Thuktik Ngöndro, except the very last one : I had been pushing myself so much in order to complete the practices ( I am a slow reciter and I had to lengthen my sessions very often) for so long that I had get a serious case of Tsok Lung and I needed absolutely to slow down. I still practiced everyday at the best of my ability and feel therefore that it suits more in that section than in the next. I plan to complete this last set during the period between this three year retreat and the next.  +

In our immediate lineage our Ngongdro is to serve our Lama which I have done for the last 12 years.  +
Ngodro only 50 % completed; but done mainly as daily practice.  +
I BEGAN 10000 OF EACH IN JULY 2002. LATER ON I BEGAN AGAIN 100000 IN THE PRELIMINARY RETREAT ON MARCH 2009. I FINISHED 10000 OF EACH IN JULY 2004. COMPLETE THE WHOLE NGONDRO IN THE ACTUAL 3 YEARS RETREAT ON JANUARY 2010  +
Completed the full Ngondro once, and am about half way through a second round of each of the practices as directed by Retreat Master Lama Tsultrim Gyaltsen  +
I completed my first Ngöndro as part of the program in my first traditional retreat, where we dedicated one year to its practice. During the same retreat, in my free time, I also finished a Ngöndro that I had started earlier. Between my two retreats, I completed a Ngöndro in the Dudjom Rinpoche tradition. Then, as part of the program in my second retreat, we practiced the Ngöndro from Kangyur Rinpoche’s tradition. After that, in my free time, I completed another Ngöndro from a cycle of yidam practice.  +
