I have worked doing carpentry and other building projects and gardening at Katog Rithrod since moving here in 2010. During that time I have been part of building our previous temple, as well as doing the majority of the large and some of the detailed painting on our new, larger temple. I was one of three builders of the druptra retreat that houses the three year retreatants, which includes 4 cabins and a 16x16 Tibetan style temple. I have also cared for the land, helped to build, repair, and maintain various cabins on the land, managed our large garden and greenhouse, and been responsible for helping organize Shedras and other bi-yealry events here. I have also been Chopon for the last 6 years and was the shopper for the previous two three-year retreats here, on our land.  +
As a resident of Katog Rit’hrod from 2010-21, I helped organize and prepare for all teachings and retreats. I also helped build and maintain the centers’ garden, greenhouse and grounds. I helped build the first temple, lay rock for the cave temple, and rebuild the main sangha house. I also led the painting of our new 3600 square ft temple, both the main painting and decorative Tibetan blocking  +
I have mainly offered my help as a translator, both oral and written. For example whenever Drubpon Tsering Rinpoche and Dorzin Dhondrup Rinpoche (Garchen Rinpoche's representatives in Europe and Asia, respectively) have asked for my help to translate letters, messages, oral interviews with students, teachings over Skype, check previous translations of short texts, write down teachings, and so forth. I offered my work for His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche's Rinchenpal Translation Project during one week in Germany, May 2019 including follow-up work after the meeting.  +

Firstly, I offered my service for the realization of my sisters Ines Rittgassers (Choekyi)’ 5-years retreat in Pharping/Nepal, heeding the advice of H.E. Chogye Trichen Rinpoche. Additionally to this, I went back and forth to Boudanath – besides organizing the retreat and attending pujas – to help one of Rinpoches successors, Gar Shabdrung Rinpoche. I somehow got unofficially assigned by the Mustang royal king family as the health caretaker of H.E. Jetsunma Kunzang Tendrol. And finally, ever since I have been back in Europe and being a monastic, I somehow automatically become part, and am of service to any Buddhist center in whatever form they need me (mainly Spain and recently Germany).  +
yes, I have been living in different Dharma communities since 2006 on a regular basis. I prefer that kind of lifestyle to living on my own. I have lived in Gampo Abbey for almost two years, and my current Dharma community I live in is Dorje Denma Ling. When I lived in Gampo Abbey I was one of the cooks for Sopa Choling retrea and assistant cook on a regular basis. In Dorje Denma ling I have been doing varaities of jobs.  +
Back in 2009, I volunteered for 7 months at a monastery in Nepal. Teaching English to the monks, and setting up a library there from funds raised. In January of 2020, I volunteered during the winter teachings at Garchen Insitute, for about 10 days or so. I was primarily helping with the dishes. I stayed at another dharma center called earth journey in 2020, and shopped for the older/at risk population during the first 7 months of covid. Was in the grocery stores for 8 hours usually when I went. Obviously during my time as a monk, everything was offered freely, and throughout most of my adult life I have mostly lived in the "gift economy" meaning i have given and received freely.  +

Translation and Interpretation Work (2018-present): I have primarily served through interpretation and translation work on a voluntary basis. I began interpreting for Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche's Annual Fall Seminars into Portuguese in 2018, starting with Drubpön Lama Tenzin Sangpo and Tomas Doctor. From 2019 onwards, I have interpreted for Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche during all fall seminars (except 2022 when I was in Brazil interpreting for Khamtak Rinpoche) and other teachings including summer seminars in Europe online. These have always been on a voluntary basis, although in recent years, interpreters have begun receiving donations from Shedrub Mandala. I have interpreted for Erik Pema Kunsang on multiple occasions, being his first interpreter into Portuguese and introducing him to the now-thriving Brazilian sangha. I volunteered as a backup interpreter during the annual Ngöndro retreat (2019-2020) and provided one month of volunteer interpretation work for the 17th Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje during the Arya Kshema Spring teachings in 2022. Brazilian Sangha Organization (2019-present): I created and manage a WhatsApp group for Brazilian practitioners connected with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche (March 2019). There I started hosting monthly online group practice sessions of the Buddha Shakyamuni Sadhana of Mipham Rinpoche on the first Sunday of each month. After a break from 2022-2024, I received Rinpoche's full support and blessings to restart these practices. We also use the group to share information about teaching events within the tradition. Translation Projects: I have translated announcements and materials for Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche's Shedrub Mandala and collaborated with Paula Rozing to translate RYI's chant book from English to Portuguese. Tara Triple Excellence Support (ongoing): I have unofficially supported Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche's online meditation program through interpretation of live Q  +
