I was my taswe lama's driver, financial support for his first few years living in the Bay Area, and helped him obtain his first visas in the USA. 1998-2003. I helped him obtain his first apartment in San Francisco and set up most of his earliest teachings in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have continued to support my lamas in any way I am able. +
After the 3-yr, 3-mo retreat at KDOL I stayed in residence for about one year leading meditations, doing informal teaching, and doing maintenance and reception and other work.
I have also volunteered for various centers for shorter lengths of time, most recently at Gampo Abbey for two months assisting Gelong Kalsang with maintenance and caretaking. +
I worked in Samye Ling Tibetan centre for about 15 years altogether. I worked in many different capacities including the sewing room learning how to make Shamtabs and Zens under the guidance of the head monk and tailor. I learned a little bit of Thanka painting under the guidance of Sherab Palden Beru the master artist at Samye Ling as well as being involved in the renovation of the Nuns cottages. I was the Painter and Decorator for a time where myself and helpers worked in various locations in Samye Ling. I was also part of the Kitchen staff as an assistant to the main cook, and was a cook on Holy Isle for the winter retreatants during their Ngondro practice. I also helped out for two weeks in November 2021 just before the lockdown came into place. +
Since 2022 in Ser Cho Ling, California. I serve as a chopon to my teacher Wangchen Rinpoche and my community here. I have been a resident at Ser Who Ling since 2022. I helped to organize numerous retreats with Kalu Rinpoche and Wangchen Rinpoche. +
I serve as an interpreter for many of the lamas from Ka Nying Shedrub Ling when they lead programs at different Gomdes. I have worked most closely with Lama Tenzin Sangpo, but also served at length with Tsangsar Tulku Rinpoche, Lama Tsultrim Sangpo, and Khenpo Urgyen Tenphel. I also live at Gomde CA and help them to keep the center running and to set up programs. +
I have served Lama Denys as his personal assistant from 1999 to 2001 and also from 2006 to 2013. I have also been the instructor of the three year retreat of the Karma Ling Institute from 2007 to 2013.
I have taught meditation from 2006 to 2024. +
From 2018 to 2023, I offered services as a cook and retreat organizer (including cleaning and maintenance), assisted in event planning, received visiting Lamas, created social media content, transcribed teachings, and served as a Chöpon.
From 2024 to 2025, I organized two group pilgrimages with Lama Tartchin as a way to raise funds for his return to India and Nepal, where he could reunite with his Root Lama, Tai Situ Rinpoche, after many years. +
In 2012-2024 I have translated for the Tara Triple Excellence.
In 2014 I have spent 9 months as a residential volunteer at Gomde UK in 2014, and have continued volunteering for 2 years thereafter.
In 2017-2022 I have offered help at Tsoknyi Gechak Ling: advise on construction of the buildings, seminars at Tsoknyi Gechak School.
In 2019-2024 I have helped on various occasions at Rangung Yeshe Gomde Russia.
In 2021-2022, I have been a Gakyil helper at Kunsangar South (Dzogchen Community, Russia).
In September 2024 I was elected a Gakyil at Kunsangar South. My duties include organisation of events (mainly Yantra Yoga) and communication. I have also acted as a translator. +
Volunteering and residing at KTD Monastery since November 2022. Full time residential volunteer in Facilities department from November 2022 to January 2024, and currently the shrinekeeper and chopon at KTD (January 2024-Present). Additionally, I do cooking, gardening, ride service, and do personal shopping and financial matters for some Lamas and a Khenpo here at KTD.
Prior to moving to KTD, I helped serve my Lama (Yeshe Palmo) by helping take care of her house and animals when she goes away, and helped her move house, do yard work, and many various projects she needs help with. Currently, I visit her one or two times a year to help her and assist in puja, shrine work, chopon, etc. +
Between 2008 and 2011, from its creation, I was actively engaged in the Dhagpo Bordeaux Buddhist Center, helping with various tasks ranging from cleaning to leading morning meditation sessions. My main responsibilities included designing and managing the center's website, creating its visual identity, producing all printed informational materials, and assisting in organizing events such as conferences.
From 2014 to 2015, I contributed to the construction of the stupas and temple in La Péchardie, Dordogne. My primary role involved painting statues and tsatsas. +
I am a member of the Sangha Care Team with Columbus KTC. When on retreat at KTD Monastery, I participate in Karma Yoga and volunteer to cook pancakes for everyone when able. +
I worked as a volunteer subtitle-maker for Do Tulku Rinpoche from 2021 to 2024 (for the Bodhisattva Project), and for Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche for a short while in 2023 (for one of his teachings on the website dharmasun.org). During the first week of February 2025, I worked at Chagdud Gonpa Khadro Ling as a volunteer cleaner, concierge and kitchen helper.
From August to November 2025, I'll work as a volunteer at Gomde Pyrénées, mainly cleaning and giving support to people who will come for the seminar and for the two retreats that will follow it. +
I was the property manager at Karme choling for 6 years.
I worked at Tassaraja for three months as facilities support staff.
I worked at Gomde California for one month as support staff.
I currently work at Spirit Rock meditation center as a facilities specialist.
I have been offering a group meditation and recovery group to those in 12 steps of recovery since 2018 +
Since 2023 I have worked as a volunteer for Gainesville Karma Thegsum Choling, assisting with IT services, program coordination, and serving as a member-at-large of our Board of Directors. Additionally I serve as the Communications Director and IT committee member for the Southeastern Buddhist Retreat Center, a project headed by my teacher Lama Losang to establish a retreat facility in north Florida. +

I have served the my Teachers, monastery, and various affiliated centers since I first was introduced in 2013. When in Nepal I serve as a liaison for new students, translator and editor for seminar and retreat materials every Fall, Teaching Assistant at RYI during the Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Fall 2019 semesters, assistant manager at the RYI restaurant and English tutor to the Tibetan language partners during the year of 2019, amongst spontaneous requests for assistance. At Gomde California I helped in the kitchen during Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche's seminars in 2016, 2017, and 2024. At Gomde Pyrenees I worked in the Lama Kitchen cleaning linens and dishes in 2018 and 2019. In 2020 I translated at Gomde Pyrenees for a three week Green Tara Retreat led by Ani Kunga from Nagi Gompa. I have traveled with Rinpoche an assisted him on four pilgrimages to Bodh Gaya. In December 2024, I traveled with Tulku Pasang Tsering and Khenpo Tsondru Sangpo to Gomde Pyrenees and translated for them during their month long stay. From January until March 19 of 2025, I was the Center Manager, main cook, and oral interpreter at Gomde Pyrenees. I managed Rinpoche's seminar in January of 2025 and oversaw volunteers for the most recent three-month retreat. +

2018, June - Sept (4 months) GP : As a general volunteer, doing what ever was needed to help the new center get ready for Rinpoche's seminar and the 3 week outer Tara retreat that would follow. Tasks included gardening, cleaning, general construction, setting up the sound and translation equipment, making breakfast etc.
2020 July/Aug few weeks, GP - The center was having issues with their internet connection, being in such a remote location the wired internet was rather slow and temperamental. I took ownership of the project, researched and meticulously looked into all the feasible options. We went with Satellite broadband I arranged for a generous member of the Sangha to donate and install the equipment and I donated the monthly upkeep until the start of my retreat. +
