In 2015 I completed the one-month November Course at Kopan Monastery. I spent the summers of 2016 and 2017 in retreat at Gomde California and spent five months in retreat in 2020 at Gomde Pyrenees, including participating in the three month sphere of refined gold retreat from March-June 2020. +

I did a six-week home retreat some years ago. As a single mother, it hasn’t been possible for me to be away from my children for long periods until now. When I enter the 3 year retreat, they will be 18 and 22 years old, and they are supportive of my decision. +
The only retreat I have taken part in is the one I am currently in at GP (07/2022-12/2025). +
In May 2025, I went to Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery in Namo Buddha, Nepal, to join a month-long Lojong retreat under the guidance of Lama Karma Phurbu.
During the retreat, we focused on contemplative meditation with four sessions a day, coupled with daily classes with Lama Karma Phurbu where he taught from Thrangu Rinpoche’s Lojong Commentary, Heart of the Dharma, and daily classes with Khenpo David Karma Choephel, who taught the first five chapters of his commentary, Entering the Way of the Bodhisattva. +
I have completed multiple group and individual retreats although most not exceeding two weeks. Regarding those of one month and longer in 2019 I have completed a one-month individual retreat on the Tukdrub Barchel Kunsel Ngondro at Asura Cave Practice center in Parphing in June, and completed a one-month group retreat on the same topic during December 2019 to January 2020. +

I completed the 1 month group ngondro retreat at Ka Nying Shedrub Ling in Kathmandu Nepal (Dec 2024 - Jan 2025) and 2 months of individual ngondro retreat at Do-Ngak Ling in Chapagaun Nepal (Late Feb 2025 - End of April 2025). +
I attended yarne at Gampo Abbey in 2001 and 2002. I have also lived in different Buddhist centres, residences, and temples, for a total of about nine of the last thirty years. +
I did a one month dathun retreat with Reggie Ray's Dharma Ocean sangha in 2012 and a 35-day Trinley Nyingpo retreat in 2019. I have done two three-week and several two- or one-week solitary retreats in addition to this. +
Yes, I have completed three 25-Nyungne (50 Days each) and several 8-Nyungne (16 days each). 25-Nyungne is actually Wangchen Rinpoche's requirement for anyone who wants to do 3-year retreat in the Golden Teaching (Shangpa Kagyu) Lineage. +
I have not participated in any retreats longer than 10 days. +
