I have been in retreat for five years now. I had savings for the first year (2015). In 2016 and 2017, Tsadra Foundation generously supported me. After that, my main source of financial support for the continuation of the retreat was and is The Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation. But it has become difficult for them to support me. Furthermore, I got recently transferred the amount of EUR 3 500,- which is the combination of some offering money, emergency money, health insurance and maybe tax reimbursement and will be and is used for the ongoing retreat. Additionally and in order to secure a basic health insurance and cover the grown medical expenses, I wrote to a Dharma friend who had voiced her wish to help with the retreat, but if she will do so and to which extent, is not yet clear at the present point in time. +
Until recently I was receiving some support from a few friends varying between 150-350EUR/month and completing monthly expenses with my savings.
Because of recent changes in the world, few of my friends cannot help me any more.
I still have about 3000 EUR on my personal account for health insurance, personal expenses,etc. Other than this I do not have any other income, pensions or support from my family. +
Right now, due to the pandemic, I had used my savings and only have enough money for my basic living expenses. I dont have personal savings anymore.
I hope I will save enough money or get sponsors for the rest of the expenses for the retreat (insurance, visa and trip) +
I have no financial means to support my three-year retreat in Gomde Pyrenees, France. +
My goal is to save $5-7,000 for the retreat. Currently I have $2,000 saved for the retreat. Currently I have no sponsors or donors. +
Note: Why I have requested more money than the full retreat cost, is specified in the PDF "Financial Situation".
With the work that I´m doing, I have managed to save 1500 USD up to this point.
Unfortunately, I have not met any sponsors within the Dharma community, or outside of it who are willing to donate. I have reached out to people, but because of the economic crisis, or because they do not consider the dharma as a noble cause, I have so far not succeeded
My family does not really understand why I have chosen the Dharma as the path I want to follow for the rest of my life nor my intention of doing a three year retreat. Nevertheless, even without comprehending it, they respect the decision I have made and have given me 1000 USD for it.
Thus, for now, I have saved around 2500 USD. Savings that I will gladly spend in the retreat cost fee, or in any other type of expense related to the retreat. +

I have no sponsors, but receive an income from my work as an editor in chief of Tara's Triple Excellence Program. The amount on my saving account right now is 2989.33 Euro. +
I haven't got any other source of financial support. +
I have a modest amount of money from the last job I did and my family don't support me. +
I don't have large nor small savings, as I have been spending all I earned to continue studying and practicing earnestly.
This year, until we enter retreat, I will do my best to gather the means I need to cover the rest of the expenses that are not covered by this fee: Personal items, shrine items, health insurance, aditional pre and post retreat and traveling expenses.
I will do this through my personal work and looking for other private sponsors.
I have a kind private sponsor who will support me on my travels to Nepal to continue working for Rinpoche's Education project and vision, and who may be able to offer support in case there are expenses that I don't manage to cover.

I was released from prison in 2017, and I don't have sources of financial support. I worked as a manager in a beach cafeteria/club these past three summers and have made enough money for yearly expenses and to cover travel costs when I go to meet the teacher. +
