personal savings: $800
no additional means of financial support. +
My friends might raise fund for my retreat depends on availability of scholarship. +
Its likely that there will be some support from sangha members and friends. +
I currently have thre sponsors who can help me cover daily living costs and health insurance each month, but they are not in a position to offer a considerable amount for the retreat itself. I do not have any family support as I come from a Christian family that does not support Buddhism at all. The little personal savings (around a thousand USD) I have will most likely only help me cover some of the extra retreat costs not included in the main price itself (such as toiletries, medicine, or extra food). However, I have spoken to Druppon Lama Lodro, and she said she would help me find more sponsors if needed. But as of this moment, I don't have any sponsors to help me with the retreat itself. +
Minimal savings- appox. $2000. I work seasonally to support my dharma lifestyle. I have no family support or sponsors. +

I used almost all of my personal savings to fund my retreats until 2014. Since then I have received support through the "Offering Bowl", and a few private donors but that has tapered off. My family has been very supportive of my retreat in many ways but do not have the financial means to support me though they have stepped in at times when things were tight.
I have requested an amount that is $1,000 less than my total estimated yearly cost. Though I have no guaranteed support from sponsors, I feel confident that through the Offering Bowl and/or certain individuals that have helped me in the past, I will be able to cover this amount. +
Milarepa fund: funding accomodation for six months $1350,-
Personal savings estimated: euro 1000 - 1500 (covering travel costs & insurance)
Sponsor: euro 300 (covering bi-monthly tsok - 6 months) +
For this upcoming year's retreat, I currently have no sponsors nor any other source of financial support. +
No, not at this time. On occasion, I recieve small donations, but they are sporadic and not usually significant in terms of covering costs of the retreat. +
I only have savings in the form of a car which I intend to sell for $5000 for my retreat. I generally have only worked in lower income jobs, and my personal business is very small. I am, however, from a generally successful family and community, from whom I will generate some support. I am confident that I will be getting one or two principle donors, and this scholarship award would go a long way in explaining and bolstering my value to the people in Panama who are almost exclusively non-Buddhists. +
Personal savings for retreat: USD 10700 (NOK 89000) +
I don't have large nor small savings, as I have been spending all I earned to continue studying and practicing earnestly.
This year, until we enter retreat, I will do my best to gather the means I need to cover the rest of the expenses that are not covered by this fee: Personal items, shrine items, health insurance, aditional pre and post retreat and traveling expenses.
I will do this through my personal work and looking for other private sponsors.
I have a kind private sponsor who will support me on my travels to Nepal to continue working for Rinpoche's Education project and vision, and who may be able to offer support in case there are expenses that I don't manage to cover.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your work, generosity and efforts to make this incredible opportunity happen for many practitioners. +

My sponsoring is ending in November 2022.

Limited retirement pension, still ineligible for social security (I will be 59 when I do my year retreat) $548.34 per month after health plan.
Savings hard to calculate until my current debts are paid off - which I intend by Jan. 2013. There will be some retirement savings given me, but it would be all used up by a year in retreat. +
